In this context, passengers traveling from Chhattisgarh to Nagpur via Gondia may face difficulties for the next few days.

The Railway Administration has decided to temporarily cancel several MEMU trains running on this route. According to information, girder de-launching work will be carried out at a level crossing in the Nagpur division. Due to this engineering work, 13 MEMU trains on the Gondia-Nagpur section will be cancelled between March 6 and March 8 for safety reasons. Passengers are advised to check their train status before traveling.

Cancelled Trains for This Reason

According to railway officials, the decision to cancel these trains was taken keeping in mind safety and track maintenance. Girder de-launching work is being carried out at level crossings in the Nagpur division. This is considered an essential engineering process for rail infrastructure. During this time, the track work necessitates a temporary suspension of train operations.

The railways say that as soon as this work is completed, train traffic will be restored to normal. Meanwhile, passengers planning to travel during these dates are advised to check their train status before traveling through the railway's official website or enquiry service to avoid any inconvenience.
