Due to the station's reconstruction work, several local and passenger trains are being continuously cancelled, which is directly impacting the pockets of the passengers. People who go to the office every day are now relying on buses and paying comparatively higher fares. This problem will have to be endured for the next few days, as the operation of several trains will remain suspended until December 26.

Reason for this decision

Currently, several trains are being cancelled in the country due to various reasons. One of the major reasons these days is fog. However, in Ghaziabad, the reason behind the platform changes and continuous train cancellations is not fog. Instead, large-scale construction work is underway at the station, and machines and workers are working very close to the railway lines.
