Step 1: NOC Certificate

Take a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) of the same state which issued you the driving license earlier. With this certificate, you will be allowed to drive in other states on behalf of your state.

Step 2: Do not forget to carry important documents

• Original driving license from your state
• In other states, it is necessary to carry some documents for a driving permit. An application form has to be taken from the RTO website. You have to take this form for the state to which you have to travel.
• Documents for home address information, for this you can use an Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport.
• For age information, a birth certificate, passport, or tenth mark sheet can be used.
• Also 5-6 passport-size photographs

Step 4: Submit the payment amount

Pay the fees to be deposited for the permission to transfer the driving license. This amount may vary according to the state.

Step 5: Driving Test

If the RTO office of the state keeps the demand for the driving test, then it will be mandatory to give the driving test to get the license. If you pass the driving test, then only you will be given a driving license.

Step 6: Get a Transferred Driving License

After completing all these steps, if your application is accepted, then you can get your transferred driving license from the RTO office.
