Trains Cancelled: Major decision by the Railways ahead of Diwali and Chhath; several trains to remain cancelled starting today.
Due to essential work on the Tatanagar-Asansol rail route, South Eastern Railway has announced changes to the operation of several trains. These changes will come into effect from November 2.
With the month of November now underway, if you are planning to travel by train today—whether for work or other purposes—this update is important for you. South Eastern Railway has decided to alter the operations of various trains along the Tatanagar-Asansol route. You might be wondering: why have these changes been made?
The adjustments are due to railway track repairs and necessary technical work being carried out in the Adra division. Consequently, the Railways has decided to cancel some trains, while others will not complete their full journey to their scheduled destinations.
