Train Travel Alert: Multiple Trains Cancelled and Diverted from June 23–30; Passengers Advised to Check Schedule Before Departure

Train Cancellation: Track strengthening work is scheduled on the Gaura-Suvansa-Badshahpur-Nibhapur-Janghai rail section under the Lucknow Division of Northern Railway, leading to the cancellation of several trains. Here are the full details.

Train Cancellation: People often prefer traveling by train for long distances. However, trains that carry lakhs of passengers to their destinations sometimes get cancelled due to various reasons. If you have a booked ticket but are unaware that your train has been cancelled, you could face significant inconvenience upon reaching the station.

If you are planning to travel by train in the coming days, this news is important for you. Track strengthening work is being undertaken on the Gaura-Suvansa-Badshahpur-Nibhapur-Janghai rail section (Lucknow Division, Northern Railway). Consequently, a non-interlocking block will be in effect from June 23 to June 30, resulting in the cancellation of some trains and the diversion of others via alternate routes.

Trains cancelled from June 23 to June 30:

  • Pratapgarh-Banaras Special (55142)
  • Banaras-Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Special (55141)
  • Both these trains will remain fully cancelled during this period.

Trains that will not run from June 28 to June 30:

  • Prayagraj Sangam-Ghazipur City (65118)
  • Ghazipur City-Prayagraj Sangam (65117)

Trains running via alternate routes:

  • Train No. 12355 Patna-Jammu Tawi Express
  • This train will run via an alternate route on June 23, 27, and 30.
  • Train No. 12356 Jammu Tawi-Patna Express
  • This train will run via a diverted route on June 24 and 28.
  • Train No. 13005/13006 Amritsar-Howrah Express

Please note that this train will run on a diverted route between Varanasi and Lucknow from June 22 to June 29.

It will now travel from Varanasi to Lucknow via Zafarabad and Sultanpur.
