Train Tips- If you do not reach the seat within 10 minutes of the train departure, then the seat will be canceled, know the new rule
The title of the third largest railway department in the world has been given to our Indian Railways Department, by which crores of people travel every day, which is quite economical and simple, in such a situation, it is the responsibility of the railway department that the passengers do not face any kind of trouble, for which the railway department introduces new rules if you reach your train seat more than 10 minutes after the departure of the train, then you may face inconvenience, as the Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) will now wait only 10 minutes before marking your seat vacant.
Why the change?
Many passengers used to board the train late even after crossing several stations. This confused the TTE, who were unable to determine which seats were vacant. This problem will be solved with the implementation of new rules.
How does the system work now?
The railways have upgraded their system to an online format, replacing the old paper method of ticket checking. Now, the TTE uses a hand-held terminal to update the status of each seat. If a passenger does not arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled departure of the train from his boarding station, his seat will be considered unreserved.
