1. Passenger trains
Purpose: Designed for short distances.
Features: Mainly consists of general class coaches.
Stops: Frequent stops at every station, both big and small.
Speed: Generally runs at low speed due to frequent stops.
2. Mail trains
Origin of the name: These trains had post boxes for mail delivery, which is why they were called mail express.
Current function: Although the mailboxes no longer exist, the name remains.
Speed and stops: Average speed of about 50 km/h, stops at many stations, similar to passenger trains but with slightly better scheduling.
3. Express trains
Speed: Runs at an average speed of 55 km/h.
Stops: Fewer stops than mail trains, making the journey faster.
Purpose: Ideal for travelers who want to reach their destination quickly without long waits at every station.
4. Superfast trains
Speed: These trains run quite fast, usually at speeds of 100 km/h or more.
Stops: Make fewer stops than express trains, increasing travel efficiency.
Fare: Ticket prices are higher due to the increased speed and fewer stops.
Distance: Usually used for long-distance travel.
