Consequently, people often have to resort to other modes of transport. However, there is no need to worry anymore; if you need to travel suddenly, you can now book tickets for the Vande Bharat Express (and other reserved trains) shortly before departure.

Booking possible even after the reservation chart is prepared

Under the new rules, if seats remain vacant after the reservation chart is prepared, they can be booked up to 15 minutes before the train departs. Previously, this was not the case; once the chart was finalized, new bookings were closed.

If the waiting list has not cleared.
