Annual Fastag Pass: From August 15, 2025, the Central Government Road Transport Ministry is starting the facility of Annual Fastag. Through this, people will be able to cross the toll plaza for just 15 rupees. Let's know about this.
Some time ago, the central government has taken such a step towards making toll payment simple and accessible in the country, due to which you can easily cross the toll plaza. This scheme will be applicable especially for private vehicles like car, jeep and van. Through this, toll plaza can be crossed for just 15 rupees. But for this you have to do one thing. Let's understand this in a little detail.
When will the project be implemented
On June 18, the Union and Road Transport Minister of the country, Nitin Gadkari made a big announcement. He gave information about starting the annual Fastag pass in the country. This will not only save people's money, but also make it easier to get out of the toll plaza. After the introduction of this new Fastag, drivers will be able to cross a toll plaza for just Rs 15. This annual pass scheme will be started from August 15, 2025.
How to cross toll plaza for Rs 15
Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, while talking about the Annual Fastag, said that one can cross the toll plaza for just Rs 15. He had told that the price of this Fastag pass is Rs 3000, through which you can make 200 trips. One journey means one trip i.e. crossing one toll plaza. According to this, you will have to pay Rs 15 per toll.
On the other hand, if you normally pay Rs 50 at a toll, then according to 200 toll plazas, you will have to pay Rs 10,000, but through the Annual Fastag pass you can save Rs 7000.
What will be the benefit of this Fastag
Generally, whatever Fastag you use, you have to recharge it again and again. On the other hand, if we talk about annual Fastag, then it has to be recharged only once. When its time period is over, you will have to renew it again. After giving it once, people will not need to stand in line. It will be implemented across the country from 15 August 2025.
