The MCD is preparing to introduce a "multi-lane free-flow tolling system," which will allow motorists to pay tolls without queuing up. Under this system, vehicles will not need to stop at the toll plaza; instead, the toll will be paid electronically while the vehicle is in motion as it passes the toll point. In other words, there will be no need to wait in lines or spend time idling; the toll payment will be processed seamlessly without stopping.
