Despite this, their total expenditure exceeds ₹2 lakh.

Here is the breakdown of their total expenses:

This raised questions among people: how are they paying an EMI for a home while living in a rented one? In response, the woman explained that the flat for which the EMI is being paid is currently under construction, forcing them to live in a rented house for the time being.

3. Child's Daycare Fees: ₹30,000

The woman works from home but needs to send her young child to daycare for a few hours daily to manage childcare while working. This costs them ₹30,000 per month.

4. Groceries and Milk: ₹20,000

The family spends approximately ₹20,000 per month on groceries and milk. 5. Dining out and outings: ₹15,000

Weekend outings and family time incur an expense of approximately ₹15,000.

6. Electricity bill: ₹6,000

The household electricity bill comes to around ₹6,000.

7. Online food orders: ₹3,000

According to the woman, the family prefers home-cooked meals; nevertheless, ordering from platforms like Zomato and Swiggy costs about ₹3,000.

8. Shopping: ₹10,000

Household items and the child's needs entail a monthly expenditure of approximately ₹10,000.

9. Internet and domestic help
