One and a half times more fine will have to be paid

According to the notification issued by the Transport Department of Bihar Government, if someone breaks a traffic rule for the first time, then he will not be fined much. On the other hand, if he breaks this rule for the second time, then he will have to pay one and a half times the fine. If a two-wheeler driver breaks a rule for the first time, then a fine of a thousand rupees will be imposed on him. On the other hand, if he breaks this rule for the second time, then he will have to pay ₹ 1500.

This much fine for three-wheelers and four-wheeler

Similarly, if a three-wheeler breaks a traffic rule for the first time, then he will have to pay ₹ 1500 as a fine. On the other hand, the fine will increase to ₹ 2000 for the second time. For light motor vehicles, the fine for the first mistake has been fixed at ₹ 2000 and for the second time, the fine has been fixed at ₹ 3000. For medium motor vehicles, the fine is ₹3000 for the first mistake and ₹4000 for the second mistake. For heavy motor vehicles, the fine is ₹5000 for the first mistake and ₹10000 for the second mistake.

Challan has to be paid within 7 days

Not only this, Bihar Transport Department has issued a strict message and also mentioned in the information that whoever breaks the traffic rules, he will have to submit the challan within 7 days. Otherwise, the department can take more strict action against such people.
