A similar situation is about to happen for passengers of South Eastern Railway. The Railways has decided to begin remodeling work at the Shalimar station yard, which will affect the operation of many trains for the next two weeks. Passengers should check their train status before traveling to avoid any inconvenience.
Several trains cancelled due to Shalimar Station yard remodeling
The railway administration has informed that remodeling work will be underway at the Shalimar Station yard from November 8th to November 24th. Due to this, several long-distance trains passing through the Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway have been cancelled. A total of 10 express trains will be completely suspended during these dates. The railway has advised passengers to check their train status on the IRCTC website or through the railway enquiry number before planning their travel during these days.
