These tasks are essential before the next installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi; your payment may be delayed.
PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: Before the next installment of PM Kisan Yojana is released, some important formalities need to be completed. If you are negligent, the amount due to your account may be delayed. Make sure to check everything in time.
PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: Farming in India is a risky business. Farmers are often under pressure due to weather, market fluctuations, and costs. In such times, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides great relief. Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs. 6000 annually from the government in three installments directly into their bank accounts. So far, 21 installments have been released, and farmers are awaiting the 22nd installment.
Generally, the next installment is sent every four months. The 21st installment was released in November. Therefore, there is speculation that the 22nd installment will be released in February. However, the official date has not yet been announced. Before the installation is released, it is essential that farmers complete some important tasks. Otherwise, the installment money may be delayed.
E-KYC is mandatory
The government has made e-KYC mandatory to prevent fraud. If this is not updated, the next installment may be stopped. Farmers can do e-KYC themselves by visiting pmkisan.gov.in or can take help from the nearest CSC center. Aadhaar-based verification ensures that the benefit reaches the right person. This is a small step, but it is crucial for receiving installments on time consistently.
Trouble if land verification is missed
The benefit under the PM Kisan Yojana is given only to those farmers whose names are registered as owners of agricultural land. Land verification is necessary for this. In this process, records are checked to ensure that the land information is correct. Sometimes, problems arise due to outdated documents. Therefore, it is essential to update and verify your land records at the local level. Otherwise, the installment may be delayed.
Check DBT in your bank account
The amount under the PM Kisan Yojana is transferred directly to the bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). If DBT is not active in your account, the money will not be transferred. Farmers can check their DBT status at their bank. Activate it immediately if needed. Correct bank details, Aadhaar linking, and DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) status – these three things determine whether or not you will receive the installment.
