Kanya Sumangala Yojana: The Uttar Pradesh government provides financial assistance under this scheme to meet the needs of daughters from birth to schooling. Funds are transferred to bank accounts at every stage.

Many governments across the country run various schemes for the education and safety of their daughters. Their goal is to ensure that a family's financial situation does not become a hindrance to their daughter's future. These efforts include various programs related to education, health, and skill development.

The Uttar Pradesh government is running the Kanya Sumangala Yojana for the daughters of the state. This scheme provides support to families who find it difficult to afford their daughter's education. The government provides financial assistance at every stage from birth to college.

The best part of the scheme is that the entire amount is transferred directly to the bank account. The Kanya Sumangala Yojana aims to ensure that a daughter's journey is not interrupted. This assistance, provided in six different phases, begins at the birth of a daughter and continues until she enrolls in a college or diploma course after 12th grade.

Previously, this scheme provided ₹15,000, but now it has been increased to ₹25,000. Daughters receive ₹5,000 at birth, ₹2,000 upon completion of immunizations at one year of age, ₹3,000 in first grade, ₹3,000 again in sixth grade, ₹5,000 in ninth grade, and finally, ₹7,000 upon admission to a college or diploma course after 12th grade.

This total assistance for a daughter is ₹25,000, which can be used for education or future preparation. Not everyone is eligible to benefit from this scheme. This assistance is available only to daughters in Uttar Pradesh whose family's annual income is less than ₹3 lakh.

Two daughters from a family can enroll in this scheme. If there is already one daughter and twins are born later, all three will benefit. Adopted daughters are also covered. The registration process is simple, and both online and offline methods are available.

To register online, you must create a new account at the official website, mksy.up.gov.in, enter the required information, and upload documents. After the application is submitted, the government transfers installments to the beneficiary's account according to the established steps.
