Rajasthan News: A case has come to light in a village in the Aburoad Sadar police station area of Rajasthan, where a pregnant woman was forcibly abducted during a wedding ceremony, taken to the forest, and an attempt to rape her by doing objectionable acts with her.
The victim has reached the police station registered a case against six named people and has appealed for concrete legal action. The accused are constantly following her, due to which she is forced to live in hiding in the shadow of fear.

A woman resident of a village in Aburoad Sadar police station area of Sirohi district told that on June 18, 2025, she and her husband, brother and sister's husband had gone to attend a wedding ceremony. During this time, she has been accused of being forced upon her. The victim is also four months pregnant.
This is how the whole incident happened
On 18 June 2025, around 10 to 11 pm, the victim was standing at a little distance from the wedding house. Then suddenly the accused Soma, Bharma, Liya, Nona, Liba and Liba's brother's son Lala along with two other persons came with sharp weapons, axes and sticks in their hands.
The victim said that as soon as he came, the accused Soma dragged the victim by her hair towards the forest and threw her down on the ground. He tried to rape her by doing objectionable acts and forcing her. The victim made many serious allegations against the accused Somaram and others.
When the victim protested and screamed loudly, her husband, brother, and another person came running and tried to rescue her from the main accused Soma, then the other accused attacked the victim's family members on the head with an axe with the intention of killing them. As soon as she moved her left hand to save herself, she got severely injured as her fingers of the left hand got cut and her middle finger got completely cut.
During this, when the victim's husband came to rescue her, the accused Bharma and Nona together beat her husband and the accused Nona hit him on his face with a stone. Due to which her husband got injured on his face. When her brother tried to intervene, he was also beaten and injured.
The victim and her family spent the night in the forest
The victim said that somehow she escaped from the clutches of the accused and spent the whole night hiding in the forest. The accused are threatening to kill me. Due to the fear of the accused, the victim and her family are forced to live in hiding. Because the accused are constantly following them by laying ambush. The victim has filed a report in Aburoad Sadar police station, pleading for concrete legal action. At present, the victim and her family are completely terrified.
What did the police say?
Abu Road police station incharge Darshan Singh said that it is a family matter. The case has been registered and investigation has started. A case has been registered of molestation of the victim and assault on her husband. Further investigation is underway.
