The Haryana government is launching the Lado Laxmi Yojana on September 25th. Chief Minister Nayab Saini will launch it at a major event on this day. Prior to this, the government has also begun trials to check the readiness of online applications.
100 women are being registered from each district, and approximately 1,200 women have already joined. On September 25th, CM Saini will launch the official portal for the scheme. After this, women can easily apply through this portal and receive ₹2,100 directly into their bank accounts each month.
Which women will benefit?
A large number of women in the state can benefit from the Lado Laxmi Yojana. However, certain conditions apply. A maximum of three women from the same family will benefit under this scheme, including a mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, and daughter. Applicants must be between 23 and 60 years of age.
Both married and unmarried women can participate in the scheme. Unmarried women must prove that they have been a Haryana citizen for at least 15 years. For married women, this requirement applies to their husbands, meaning they must have been residents of Haryana for more than 15 years.
