A fantastic scheme has been launched for farmers in Haryana. The Nayab Singh Saini government is offering a subsidy of up to ₹3 lakh on the purchase of a new tractor. The last date to apply under this scheme is January 15, 2026.  No applications will be accepted after this date. However, there is an eligibility condition: this scheme is only for Scheduled Caste (SC) farmers of Haryana. Farmers belonging to other categories will not be able to avail of this scheme.

The Haryana government has invited applications for subsidies on the purchase of new tractors with a capacity of 45 HP. If you are a Scheduled Caste (SC) farmer, you can avail of this scheme and get a subsidy of up to ₹3 lakh. This scheme, which started on December 27, has a last date of January 15, 2026.

How to get ₹3 lakh for a new tractor
Farmers interested in buying a tractor will have to apply online. After this, a list of beneficiaries will be prepared by the District Level Executive Committee constituted at the district level. Farmers whose names are on this list can then purchase a tractor by negotiating with the tractor companies registered on the Agriculture Department's portal. If the number of selected farmers exceeds the target, the selection will be done through a lottery. Farmers who wish to apply for this scheme can visit the Agriculture Department's portal or contact the Deputy Director of Agriculture or Assistant Agricultural Engineer's office in their district.

Tractor Subsidy Scheme Eligibility
The beneficiary must be a resident of Haryana state and belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
The applicant should not have received a tractor subsidy under any scheme of the Agriculture Department in the last 5 years.
The tractor cannot be sold for 5 years from the date of purchase.
The farmer must own agricultural land.
The land can be registered in the name of any family member under the Family ID (PPP/Family ID).

How to apply for the Tractor Subsidy Scheme
STEP-1
First, you need to register on the 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' portal.
Go to the Farmer Center on the portal and register using your Family ID or Aadhaar number.
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number; complete the verification process using this OTP.

STEP-2
Now go to the Agriculture Department portal and select the Tractor Subsidy Scheme SB-89.
Read the scheme's terms and conditions carefully and click on "Click Here for Registration".
Now enter your Family ID number to view the details of your family members.
Then, select the family member in whose name you want to apply for the scheme.
Fill in all the required information and upload the necessary documents.
