If you wish to build a substantial fund for your daughter's future, various savings and investment schemes offered by banks and the government can assist you. One such initiative is the 'Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana.' This scheme helps meet the financial requirements related to a daughter's education, health, and future needs. The government launched this initiative with a focus on the education, well-being, and a better future for daughters. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹50,000 is provided for the first two daughters of a family, covering the period from birth up to Class 12. The aim is to alleviate the financial burden on families regarding their daughter's education and early upbringing expenses.

The Rajasthan government launched this scheme on June 1, 2016. Its objective extends beyond merely providing financial aid; it seeks to promote girls' education, improve health outcomes, prevent child marriage, and foster a positive shift in societal attitudes towards daughters. If your daughter was born in Rajasthan on or after June 1, 2016, and you meet the scheme's eligibility criteria, you can avail yourself of its benefits.
