The effect of the reform in GST is visible... Milk became cheaper by Rs 2 per liter, the prices of ghee, paneer, and ice cream also decreased

GST 2.0: After the reform in GST, Mother Dairy has reduced the price of packaged milk by Rs 2 per liter. This will provide relief to consumers during the festive season in the coming time.
GST 2.0: The effect of the GST reforms done by the government has started showing on the prices of things. Now take the example of Mother Dairy, which has given relief to its consumers before the festive season. The company has reduced the prices of packaged milk by Rs 2 per liter. Under this, the price of 1 liter toned tetra pack milk has been reduced from Rs 77 to Rs 75, while the price of 450 ml pack will now be Rs 32 instead of Rs 33. The company has also reduced the prices of other dairy products including ghee, paneer, butter and flavored milkshake.
New rates will be applicable from 22 September
Mother Dairy has announced a reduction in price before the new GST rates come into effect from 22 September. The Government of India had announced the GST reform on 3 September. Due to this, the price of dairy products like milk, cheese and butter as well as many other essential items will also come down. In such a situation, Mother Dairy has given the full benefit of GST reduction to its customers even before the new rates come into effect.
Mother Dairy gave full benefit of tax
Mother Dairy has said that it is giving 100 percent benefit of reduced GST to the customers even before the official implementation of GST. Most of the company's products come under either zero GST or the lowest 5 percent slab, due to which the prices could be reduced. This step taken by the company reflects its commitment to provide goods to its customers at the right price.
New price of Paneer and Milkshake
Along with milk, the prices of paneer have also been reduced. A 200 gram pack of paneer will now be available for Rs 92 instead of Rs 95 and a 400 gram pack will be available for Rs 174, down from Rs 180. Cream has also become cheaper. A 200 gram pack will now be available for Rs 97 instead of Rs 100. The prices of flavoured milkshakes have also fallen slightly. A 180 ml pack will now be available for Rs 28, down from Rs 30.
