The written exam for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025 will be conducted in 6 phases from July 16 to August 3. More than 16.5 lakh candidates will appear in the exam for a total of 19,838 posts.

Big news has come out for lakhs of youth waiting for recruitment in Bihar Police. The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has announced the dates of the written examination to be conducted for 19,838 constable posts. This exam will be conducted in six phases, starting from July 16, 2025, and the last phase will be on August 3, 2025.

The exam will be held on these dates.

According to the schedule released by the Central Selection Board, the exam will be conducted on July 16, July 20, July 23, July 27, July 30 and August 3. Lakhs of candidates will appear in every stage, so strict monitoring will be done at the examination centers across the state.

33 thousand out of more than 17 lakh applications canceled

The advertisement for this recruitment process was released on 11 March 2025. After this, online applications were sought from 18 March to 25 April 2025. During this period, about 17 lakh candidates applied, but about 33 thousand of these applications have been canceled. Now about 16.5 lakh candidates will appear in the examination.

Strict arrangements regarding transparency of examination

Central Selection Board Chairman and Additional Director General of Police Jitendra Kumar has assured that the examination will be conducted with fairness and transparency. He said that we have conducted examinations before and there has been no paper leak or disturbance of any kind. This time also the examination will be held under complete security and surveillance. There is no possibility of paper leak. He also informed that CCTV, biometric attendance, and flying squads will be deployed at the examination centers.

Important guidelines for candidates

Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to download their admit cards on time, which will contain complete information about the date, centre and time of the exam. It is mandatory to bring photo identity card and admit card to the examination centre.
