Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a 5,000 rupee donation to laborers before Navratri and Diwali.

Today, September 17th, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, the Bihar government will transfer 5,000 rupees to laborers' accounts. The Bihar government will transfer funds to the accounts of 1,60,49,29 construction workers in the state under the Annual Clothing Assistance Scheme. Tomorrow, workers will receive an amount of ₹802 crore 46 lakh 45 thousand at the rate of ₹5,000 each. This benefit will be available to workers associated with the Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Following Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's announcement, many workers are now wondering how they can apply for this scheme. Only workers affiliated with the Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board can avail of this scheme. If a construction worker is not affiliated with this board, they will be eligible.

Otherwise, they will not receive benefits. To join the board, you will need to register online.
