State Bank of India: A case of misbehavior of the recovery agent of State Bank of India with the customer has come to light. Recently, Rattan Dhillon, a credit card holder of SBI in Chandigarh, shared a similar incident on the social media platform, in which the recovery agent showed attitude to him for not paying the dues in a very small amount. Rattan Dhillon demands that the bank apologize to him for this.

This is how the recovery agent spoke on WhatsApp.

He has shared a screenshot of the recovery agent's WhatsApp chat on his ex-account. In this, the recovery agent has written, "The bank's money was free, which he ate and sat down. You are behaving like a defaulter. The bank's money does not last long. One day or the other, it will run out, and that too with interest. Before that day comes, pay your minimum amount for one month now.''

In a conversation on the phone, the recovery agent said, ''You do not have to work hard, you have to make the payment, and you come to your senses after the due date.''

The customer demands that the bank apologize.

After this, after checking his documents, Dhillon found that he owed only Rs 2,000-3,000. He reprimanded the bank for talking in this manner. He writes, ''This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and the bank should apologize to me. If the bank does not pay attention to this, I will complain. This is intolerable. And yes, I am closing all my SBI accounts today itself.''

After this post went viral and got more than one million views, SBI responded to it. The bank wrote we are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We have taken note of it and our representative will contact you soon.
