Telegram Update: Many features came together in Telegram, you will be able to send messages on the channel too..

Telegram on Tuesday released a new update for its app, which will make it easier for users to start conversations, navigate topics, and trim voice messages. Under this update, users will now be able to send direct messages to channels and also interact privately with channel owners and admins. Apart from this, features like voice message editing, a new layout for group topics, and improvements in media sharing have also been added.
Direct Messages to Channels
Now Telegram users can send direct messages to channels and have private conversations with channel owners and admins. This new feature will be especially useful for content creators and their subscribers, as it allows them to communicate without sharing their personal information. These messages will appear in a new interface separate from individual chats. Creators can also set a fee for these direct messages if they wish.
New layout of group topics
Group topics will now appear in a new tab layout, allowing users to access them quickly from the chat list itself. Now one can easily switch between different parts of the conversation. Users can choose a minimalist option in the top bar or activate a larger layout like a sidebar. This feature can be activated by going to Group Settings > Topics.
Voice message editing
Telegram has also improved the way voice messages are sent. Now users will be able to trim the beginning and end part of a voice message when they swipe up to lock it while recording it. Apart from this, users can also record new sections by tapping the microphone icon again.
Changes in high-definition photos and polls
Now the 'High Definition' option can be used while sending photos, which will make the image four times more pixels, but the data will be less than 0.5MB. Also, iOS users can now share media directly from any app to Telegram Story.
The poll feature has also been changed. Now up to 12 options can be added to a poll and these can be sent to ‘Saved Messages’ and kept for future reference.
