Telegram launches free and secure video call feature with 200 people, beating Google and Microsoft

Actually, now you can make free and secure i.e., encrypted group video calls by adding 200 people simultaneously on Telegram. This new feature of this app can directly create competition for 'Google Meet and Microsoft Teams', because both of these platforms do not yet provide free calls in such a large number.

What is special in this new feature?

Telegram first introduced group calling in the year 2021, but now a new twist has been added to it, and that is 'end-to-end encryption', that is, your conversation will be completely secure and no third person can listen to it.

The best thing about this video call service is that now it is not necessary to create a group in advance to make a call. You can start the call directly, add others by sending a link or QR code and can also share audio, video or screen during the conversation.

How will you know if the call is safe?

When you join the call, you will see four emojis on the screen. The caller can compare them, if the emojis match, then understand that your call is 100% safe.

Telegram says that its technology is so strong that no one has been able to hack it in the last 10 years, while the company has also kept a reward of $100,000 (about ₹ 84 lakh) for the hacker.

Good news for business users, too

Telegram has also launched many new tools for its 'Premium Business Accounts'. Now companies can add AI bots to their accounts, which can do things like sending messages, updating profiles, handling transactions and posting stories on their own. Companies can also decide how much freedom to give to the bots.

If rules are broken, there will be a facility to appeal

If a user's account is suspended or frozen due to any rule violation, then now he can appeal directly from within the app. If the appeal is found to be correct, all bans will be removed from the account.

Telegram has made the app more user-friendly. Now you can forward any message by simply dragging the share button. Another new shortcut has come for iPhone users.
