Sometimes all contacts may be deleted from the contact list by mistake. Although this does not happen often, when it does happen it feels as if the ground has slipped from under your feet.
As mobile phone use increased, people stopped keeping contact numbers in diaries. In such a situation, if contacts are accidentally deleted from the mobile then it causes a lot of trouble. However, Google has a trick through which you can recover deleted contact numbers.
Are numbers safe in Gmail?
When you save a number on your mobile, you have the option to save it on your smartphone or Gmail. For people who save numbers on their mobile, if the numbers are accidentally deleted from their phone, they can recover them from Gmail.
How to get missing contacts back
If someone deletes a contact from your Gmail, they are not deleted directly. They remain in the Recycle Bin, from where they can be retrieved again.
How to recover contacts:
First of all, you have to log in to Gmail on your PC or laptop. Then, in Gmail, you will see an option with nine dots in the upper right corner. On clicking it, many options will appear, out of which you have to select the 'Contacts' option. A new page will open, showing the list of saved contacts. At the bottom, you will see the option of 'Trash' or 'Bin', on which you will have to click. Then, a new page will open, showing the recovery option. By clicking on this, the deleted contacts will come back to your mobile.
