If you have bought a new iPhone and your old phone is Android, then the biggest tension is how all your data will come to the new phone? How will you transfer everything like photos, contacts, messages, apps, WhatsApp chats, and much more? But transferring data from an old phone to a new iPhone is not a difficult task; you just need to know the right way. Here is the easiest way to transfer data from Android to iPhone in a jiffy.

Apple's Move to iOS app

Apple itself has created an app that makes it very easy to transfer data from Android to iPhone. The name of this app is Move to iOS. It is available for free in the Google Play Store. With this app, you can easily share Contacts, Calendar, Photos and Videos, Gmail accounts and mail, Messages, Web bookmarks, and WhatsApp chats.

Step-by-step method
Set up the iPhone like new. When you turn on the new iPhone, a screen named Apps & Data will appear on it. Select the option of Move Data from Android there.

Install the Move to iOS app on your Android phone. Go to Google Play Store and download and open the Move to iOS app.

Make sure that your Android phone and the new iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi and both have a good battery or are charging.

The iPhone will display a 6-10 digit code. Enter this code in the Android phone. Now the Android phone will ask you to select the data you want to transfer, such as contacts, photos, videos, chats, etc.

Once the process starts, let it complete. Once the transfer is complete, the iPhone will do the rest of the setup itself.

WhatsApp data transfer

Now you can also bring the entire chat backup of WhatsApp from Android to iPhone. For this, go to WhatsApp settings in your Android phone, click on the Chats section and tap on Move Chats to iOS. After this, while transferring from the Move to iOS app, also select WhatsApp data. Install WhatsApp on iPhone and enter the same number and the app will recognize the old backup.
