How to check TDS through Form 26AS

Step 1- First of all you have to go to the Income Tax e-filing portal.

Step 2- If you have never registered before, then first you have to register.

Step 3- Then after logging in, you will see the option of My Account, click on it.

Step 4- After this, you have to choose the option of view form 26AS.

Step 5- Then select the financial year and PDF format and download.

Keep in mind that this PDF will be password-protected. So to open it, the date of birth given on the PAN card will have to be entered.

Apart from these two, TDS can also be checked through the TDSCPC portal.

How to check TDS through TDSCPC

To check TDS status through TDSCPC, you have to carefully follow the steps given below.

Step 1- First of all you go to the TDSCPC portal.

Step 2- Then you have to click on the Taxpayer tab given.

Step 3- After this, you have to click on the View TDS / TCS Certificate option.

Step 4- Now fill in the PAN number and the details asked.

Step 5- After this, you have to click on the GO option.

Step 6- Then you will see the details related to TDS on the screen.
