SwaRail App: How is the new super app SwaRail of Railways, what will be the work?

Railways has launched a new superapp called SwaRail, which provides services like reserved ticket booking, ordering food in train and PNR inquiry at one place. This superapp is currently available in beta version on both Android and iOS platforms and aims to eliminate the need for several different apps for railway services.

SwaRail SuperApp has been developed by the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) and it integrates all the public services of Indian Railways. Through this app, reserved, unreserved and platform tickets can be booked, parcel and freight inquiries can be made, train and PNR status can be checked. Till now there are different apps for different work but now in future all the work will be done from SwaRail SuperApp.

This app also displays complete information of the concerned train along with PNR inquiry and provides single sign-on functionality. You can also login to this application using your existing IRCTC RailConnect and UTS mobile app credentials and it also has features like m-PIN and biometric authentication.
