Subhadra Yojana: The government gives Rs 10,000 to women every year, know what is the eligibility
Many types of schemes are being run by the central and state governments for the welfare of women. One of them is Subhadra Yojana, which is being run by the Odisha government.
This scheme has been started to promote women's empowerment. Under this scheme, women of the state are given Rs 10,000 annually by the government. The Odisha government aims to benefit about one crore women of the state under this scheme.
Under this scheme of the Odisha government, women are given money directly in their accounts through direct benefit transfer in two installments of Rs 5,000 each annually. Women from 21 to 60 years old can avail of the scheme. Under the scheme, women who are government employees will not get the benefit of the scheme. They will not get the benefit even if there is an income taxpayer in the family.
