Stock Market News: Do you invest in the stock market after watching YouTube videos? Do you follow a single YouTuber and invest solely based on their recommendations? If yes, then this news is for you. A similar incident has emerged from South Korea, where a young man invested after watching a YouTuber's video but, unable to cope with the resulting financial loss, attacked the YouTuber in a fit of rage.

What is the full story?

According to the Nimbu Police Station in Busan, South Korea, the incident took place near a commercial building around 8:09 AM on July 13. A young man, approximately 20 years old, used to follow a YouTuber and invest in the stock market based on the advice given in their videos. One day, he suffered a massive loss; enraged by this, he found the YouTuber alone and attacked him with a knife.

The attacker is currently in police custody, and the injured individual has been hospitalized. Meanwhile, the police are interrogating the accused to determine the exact motive behind the attack. During the initial investigation, the man admitted that he took this step due to the investment losses. However, the police are also investigating whether there were any other underlying reasons.

A lesson to be learned from this incident

This incident teaches everyone that not all information shared on social media is accurate. In particular, one should never make investment moves without proper knowledge. First, thoroughly understand the investment and the associated risks before making a decision. Think twice before placing your trust in any YouTuber or YouTube channel. Because people are often unable to cope with despair and end up taking such a step.
