SSC CGL Complete Recruitment Process: Staff Selection Commission's Combined Graduate Level Examination is being conducted. Tier one exams started on 9 September and will continue till 26 September 2024. Lakhs of candidates take part in this exam every year. After selection, they are appointed to various ministries and departments of the Central Government. However, the journey of these appointments is very long. It takes a lot of time from the release of the notice of these vacancies to the release of results after the examination and joining.

In how many days the process is completed

These are not those jobs where the results do not come after some time of the exam and interview, rather it usually takes one to one and a half years to complete the entire process. Candidates sometimes take one and a half to two years to get appointed to Group B and C posts.

The first phase notice is released.

Under the first phase, the notice of this recruitment exam is released every year in May or June. The last date is within 30 days of the start of the application. After this, the next phase is the Tier One Examination. This is conducted one and a half to two months after the application ends.

Next phase Tier 2 examination

After Tier One is conducted, Tier Two is conducted. This is usually conducted two to two and a half months after the end of Tier One. First, the results of Tier One come. After this, the candidates fill the preference of their post.

Then it takes two months.

After conducting the Tier II exam, the commission releases the final results of the candidates. In this, they get a place in the ministry and department according to their marks as well as post preference. Sometimes this process also becomes long.

Document verification

After the release of Tier II results, the document verification of the candidates is done. When their eligibility is completely confirmed, the final result of these candidates is released. This entire process has now become online, which can take up to a month in total.

Then a wait of three months

With the completion of document verification, the work of the commission ends. After this, the work of the ministry or department in which the candidates have got appointment starts. This process can again take two to three months at the ministry level. After this, the final joining of the candidate takes place.
