The Department of Telecommunications and the telecom regulator are working in action mode to curb spam calls. Action has started being taken on fraud and cheating due to fake calls.

The government is blocking 1.30 crore fake calls daily. DoT India has recently launched a mobile app for its Sanchar Sathi portal for users. Users can also report fake calls through this app.

Also, you can find out about fake SIM cards issued in your name. Fake calls coming on users' numbers are being blocked at the operator level itself.
