During this, she said that 6500 seats will be increased in IIT and 3 AI centers will be opened. Apart from this, he has announced to increase in the seats for students in the medical field. The Finance Minister said that 10 thousand seats will be increased in 5 years. Apart from this, there is a budget of Rs 500 crore for AI education.

How many medical seats are there in the country?
Let us tell you that there are a total of 1,12,112 MBBS seats in medical colleges in the country, for which there is a competition for admission every year. Admissions are given on these seats through NEET exam. Before the arrival of the Modi government, till the year 2014, the total number of MBBS seats used to be 51348, which till 2014 there were a total of 387 medical colleges in the country. Apart from this, according to the data till July 2024, now the number of medical colleges in the country is 731. Similarly, the number of post graduate seats in medical has also been increased. Till 2014, the total number of post graduate seats was 31185, while by July 2024 the number of these seats has increased to 72627. But now the students preparing for medical will get relief due to the increase in medical seats again.
