Google has released a major update of its popular photo editing app Snapseed for iPhone and iPad. This is considered to be the most important update received by the app in recent years. This new version of Snapseed includes a new user interface, new tabs, a new icon, and changed control settings. Also, now users will be able to see their edit history in a grid view. Apart from this, new filters inspired by classic film rolls have also been added to the app.

Key features of Snapseed update:

The new interface in-app version 3.0.0: This new design has been brought in version 3.0.0 of Snapseed for iOS and iPadOS. According to Google's changelog, "You may see some new things in the app. We have refreshed the app to make it easier to edit photos. Also, some bugs have been removed, which will make the experience better than before."

New and simple logo: The leaf and rectangular design of the old logo has been removed and now only a green faceted leaf has been included in the logo. The variety of colors has also been reduced.

New Faves tab: Snapseed now adds a new Faves tab, allowing you to save your favorite editing tools so you can access them quickly. This tab is between "Looks" and "Tools" in the bottom bar, while the Export option has now been shifted to the top-right corner of the screen.

New gesture control system: Most settings now have an arc-based controller, which can be changed by swiping from left to right. Also, users can change adjustment options such as brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, and warmth by swiping up and down.

31 new film filters: Snapseed's new update includes 31 filters inspired by classic film rolls, including Kodak Gold 200, Fuji Superia 800, Polaroid 600, Technicolor, etc.

With this update, the Snapseed app has become more intuitive, powerful and creative than ever. iPhone and iPad users can now take their photo editing experience to a whole new level.
