Fake apps like PancakeSwap, SushiSwap, Raydium, and Hyperliquid are targeting DeFi wallet users as a phishing scams. As soon as you download these apps on the phone, these apps ask you to enter a 12-word recovery phrase. After entering the phrase, hackers take access to the wallet and empty the account.

These apps are being spread through developer accounts related to gaming and video editing tools. These apps hide the phishing URL in the privacy policy and then copy the apps that look exactly like the original apps and download them, which confuses users as to which app is real and which is fake.
