Let us tell you that from the 1st date, the rules of ATM cash withdrawal (atm cash withdrawal rule changes) have changed. Now, customers will have to pay a maximum fee of Rs 23 instead of Rs 21 on every additional transaction after the free limit. This limit is different for metro and non-metro cities.
According to the current rules, you get 5 free transactions at your bank's ATM every month. If you are in a metro city, then 3 free transactions are available at ATMs of other banks, while in non-metro cities, this limit is 5 free transactions. These rules apply to savings account holders of all banks in the country, and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has not made any change in the limit of this free transaction.
