Following SBI, PNB also announced via social media that ATM transactions would be free on September 28, 29, and 30.

An advisory issued by SBI states that efforts will be made to provide all essential banking services to customers during the strike. The bank has also requested customers to complete any urgent transactions before the strike begins. Customers requiring cash are advised to use ATMs. Digital services—including YONO, internet banking, mobile banking, and UPI—will remain operational during the strike.

SBI has decided to keep bank branches open on Sunday in light of the three-day strike starting Monday. However, employee unions have opposed this decision, arguing that it is inappropriate to conduct business operations on a holiday.
