According to media reports, Google's new 'Signatures' app is being developed for user convenience, with safety as its main objective. The app will store your digital signature securely on your phone. Additionally, it offers various methods for creating a signature: users can draw their signature on the screen by hand, upload a photo of an existing signature, or type their name and generate a digital signature using different font styles.

Furthermore, the app allows you to save multiple signatures, enabling you to use the appropriate one depending on the context or requirement.

How to Use the App

For your information, you can use this new app if your phone has the June 2026 Google Play System Update installed. To get started, go to Settings, check for the Google Play System Update, and install the latest version. Note that the 'Signatures' app will not appear directly in your app drawer.

To access it, you will need to use an app like 'Activity Launcher'. Searching for "Signature" within that launcher will reveal various related options, allowing you to create new signatures and manage existing ones.

When will the fully ready app be available?

According to reports, the app is not yet considered fully ready. Currently, users can create and save signatures, edit or delete them, and manage them via the 'Manage Signatures' section.
