However, there has been no change in the price of a domestic LPG cylinder. This means small businesses, restaurants, and shops have received relief, while domestic consumers have seen no change.
ATF (Aviation Turbine Fuel) Prices Increased
Aviation fuel prices have increased since December 1st. This could have a direct impact on air tickets. Airfares are likely to increase in the future. The price of ATF in Delhi has increased by ₹5133.75 compared to November, reaching ₹99,676.77 per kiloliter. The new price in Kolkata is ₹102,371.02 per kiloliter, ₹93,281.04 in Mumbai, and ₹103,301.80 in Chennai.
Changes in Aadhaar Update Rules
The process of updating information such as name, address, date of birth, and mobile number in Aadhaar cards has become easier. You can make these updates online, and document verification will be done through your PAN card, passport, or other relevant government records.
UPS vs. NPS: The option is now closed
The big news for government employees is that the deadline for choosing UPS ended on November 30th. Now, no employee will have the option to switch between UPS and NPS. Employees who did not opt in on time will now have to remain in NPS.
Changes in EPFO rules
Changes to EPFO procedures have come into effect from December 1st. These include changes to UAN-KYC linking, e-nomination, and monthly pension update rules. Failure to make a nomination will result in difficulties in filing PF claims.
