Recently, the central government presented the first budget of its 3.0 tenure, you will start feeling the effect of this budget from August 1 as soon as July ends because as soon as August starts, many changes will happen, which can affect various aspects of your daily life, from your kitchen to your finances. Which can affect everything from LPG prices to credit card rules. Let's know about the changing rules-
1. LPG cylinder prices
From August 1, oil marketing companies will change the prices of LPG cylinders. 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have been affected, while there is no change in 14 kg domestic cylinders. Many people expect similar relief in the price of domestic cylinders this time too.
2. ATF and CNG-PNG rates
On August 1, the prices of Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG will also be revised. In early April, ATF prices saw a reduction, and similar changes may be on the cards this August.
3. HDFC Bank Credit Card Rules
If you use HDFC Bank credit cards, be aware of the new rules that will come into effect from August 1. A 1% fee will be levied on fare payments made through third-party apps such as CRED, Paytm, Mobikwik, and Freecharge with a transaction limit of Rs 3,000.
4. Google Maps Charges
The company plans to reduce its service charges in India by up to 70% and will switch the billing currency to the Indian rupee, making transactions more seamless for users in India.
5. Bank Holidays
According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed for 13 days on account of various holidays including Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, and Independence Day as well as second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.
