Rule Change: These 5 big changes are going to be implemented from June 1, the effect will be visible in every house and every pocket!

 |
CALENDAR

The month of May is coming to an end and June is beginning. Three days are left and after that, many big changes will be seen in the country from the first date (Rule Change from 1st June), which can prove to directly affect your pocket. These include everything from LPG Cylinder Prices to Credit Card Rules. Let us know about 5 such big changes...

First change: LPG prices

Oil marketing companies change LPG cylinder prices on the first of every month and the revised prices can be issued from 6 am on June 1, 2024. While many changes have been seen in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders in the recent past, there has been no change in the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders. In such a situation, people are expecting relief in domestic cylinder prices this time before the elections are over.

Second change- ATF and CNG-PNG rate

Along with the change in the prices of LPG Cylinders, oil marketing companies also revise the prices of air-fuel i.e. Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG. In such a situation, their new prices may also be revealed on the first date. It is noteworthy that earlier in April, ATF prices were reduced.

Third change- SBI Credit Card

The rules of the SBI Credit Card are going to change from June 1, 2024. According to SBI Card, reward points will not be applicable on government-related transactions for some credit cards from June 2024. These include State Bank's AURUM, SBI Card ELITE, SBI Card ELITE Advantage and SBI Card Pulse, SimplyCLICK SBI Card, SimplyClick Advantage SBI. Card (SimplyCLICK Advantage SBI Card) and SBI Card Prime (SBI Card PRIME) among others.

Fourth change: driving license test

The fourth major change taking place from the first of June is related to your driving license. In fact, from June 1, 2024, driving tests can be conducted even in private institutes (driving schools), till now these tests have been conducted only in government centers run by RTO. Now people applying for licenses in private institutes too will have a driving test and will be issued a license. However, keep in mind that this test process will be conducted only in those private institutes which will be recognized by the RTO. Along with this, if a minor below 18 years of age is found driving a vehicle, then not only will he be fined Rs 25,000, but the license will also not be issued for 25 years.

Fifth change: Aadhaar Cred free update

The fifth change, however, will come into effect from June 14th. UIDAI had extended the deadline for free updating of the Aadhaar Card to June 14 and it has been extended several times, so now there is little possibility of it being extended further. In such a situation, Aadhar card holders have only a few days left to update it for free. After this, if you go to the Aadhaar center to get it updated, you will have to pay a charge of Rs 50 per update.
