When will the 23rd installment be released?
Information shared on the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana's official social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), indicates that the scheme's 23rd installment will be released on June 20, 2026, transferring ₹2,000 to the farmers' accounts.

PM Modi to release the farmer scheme installment
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme for eligible beneficiaries on June 20, 2026, from Tarakeswar in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. This event will be organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of West Bengal.

9.44 crore farmers to benefit
Under the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a total amount exceeding ₹18,880 crore will be directly transferred to the accounts of more than 9.44 crore farmers. More than 2.18 crore women farmers will benefit from this 23rd installment.

What is the PM-Kisan scheme?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched on February 24, 2019. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. This amount is transferred to farmers' bank accounts in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. So far, 22 installments have been released, and the 23rd installment is now due.

How to check your status
Visit the official PM-Kisan website.
Go to the 'Farmers Corner' section and click on the 'Know Your Status' option.
Then, enter your registration number and the captcha code. Here, you can also check the status of e-KYC, Aadhaar-bank seeding, and land seeding.
