Recruitment for posts including SI, Constable, and Jail Warder; over 7,000 vacancies to be filled in this state
The Telangana government has approved the recruitment of thousands of personnel across the police, fire, prison, and special security forces. A notification regarding this will be issued soon.
The Telangana government has sanctioned the recruitment of 7,437 personnel in the state. These recruitments will fill thousands of vacancies in the Police Department, Fire and Disaster Management, Prisons and Correctional Services Department, and the Special Security Force.
Although the application process has not yet begun, the recruitment board has clarified that the notification will be released shortly, after which candidates will be able to apply online.
The largest number of recruitments will take place in the Police Department, with a total of 5,000 appointments to be made. These include posts such as Sub-Inspector (SI), Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), Police Constable, Driver Constable, and Mechanic Constable. Specifically, 3,697 Civil Police Constable posts will be filled, alongside 1,052 AR Constable posts. Additionally, vacancies have been announced for Civil SI, Reserve SI, and other special units.
This is also a great opportunity for candidates aspiring to work in the Prisons and Correctional Services Department, where 223 posts will be filled. These include positions for Deputy Jailor (male and female) and Warder (male and female).
Significant recruitment will also take place in the Special Security Force (SSF), with a total of 1,424 sanctioned posts. This includes 44 Sub-Inspector and 1,380 Constable positions.
Furthermore, 790 posts will be filled in the Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency, and Civil Defence Department. In total, 7,437 vacancies across four different departments will be filled through this single recruitment drive.
According to the recruitment board, a detailed notification containing all necessary information will be issued once all required details are received from the respective departments.
