Recruitment for 6500 Senior Teacher posts in Rajasthan, know who and how can apply

Rajasthan Public Service Commission has announced recruitment for 6500 posts of Senior Teacher. Candidates can apply for this recruitment by visiting the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

The application process for this recruitment has started from 19 August 2025, and interested candidates can apply till 17 September 2025.

This recruitment is being done to fill the posts of Senior Teacher in various subjects. It includes main subjects like Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Along with this, there will also be recruitment in Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Gujarati subjects. The maximum number of posts have been released in Mathematics, English, and Science subjects. In this way, a total of 6500 teachers will be appointed.

The candidate applying for these posts should have a graduation degree in the relevant subject. Along with this, it is also mandatory to have a B.Ed. degree. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be able to appear in this exam.

As far as the age limit is concerned, the minimum age has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 40 years. However, candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per government rules. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2026.

Candidates will be selected through written examination. The questions asked in the exam will be related to the subject. Apart from this, questions related to general knowledge and education will also be asked. Candidates who will be successful in the written examination will be appointed on the basis of merit list.

The application fee in this recruitment has been fixed according to different categories. Candidates of general and OBC category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. At the same time, the fee for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, EWS and Divyang candidates has been kept at Rs 400. If a candidate makes a mistake in the application form, then he will also have a chance to correct it. Correction can be done till 10 days after the last date of application, but for this an additional fee of Rs 500 will have to be paid.

The candidate will first have to go to the RPSC website or SSO portal. There you have to click on the "Apply Online" link. New candidates will have to do one time registration (OTR). After this, you can fill the application form by logging in through user ID and password and going to the recruitment section. While applying, you have to upload photo and signature. Finally, submit the form by paying the application fee and keep its printout saved.
