From February 3, 2026, to March 31, 2026, the general public will be able to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of nature at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The formal inauguration of this winter annual edition will be done by President Droupadi Murmu.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of Delhi life, if there is one place that can soothe the mind with its tranquility, greenery, and vibrant colors, it is the Amrit Udyan of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, this garden is now being reopened to the public with a new name and a new look.

Like every year, this special garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan is ready to welcome visitors with a carpet of flowers during the winter season. From February 3, 2026, to March 31, 2026, the general public will be able to enjoy the amazing beauty of nature here. The formal inauguration of this winter annual edition will be done by President Droupadi Murmu. If you are also fond of flowers, greenery, and a peaceful environment, then this place is nothing short of paradise for you.

What special attractions will be there in Amrit Udyan?

This year, Amrit Udyan has been made even more special. Here you will find more than 145 varieties of roses, 85 types of different flowering plants, colorful tulips, flowing streams like waterfalls, babbling brooks (small canals with waterfalls), and a serene banyan tree garden. People will especially love the unique varieties of roses like Arjun, Krishna, and Ashwini. This place will be nothing less than heaven for flower lovers and photography enthusiasts.

This time, Amrit Udyan has been made even more educational and interactive. QR codes have been placed at various locations in the garden. By scanning these QR codes with your mobile phone, you can instantly get complete information about that plant or flower. The garden will be open six days a week and closed on Mondays. The timings are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The last entry is at 5:15 PM. The garden will be closed on Holi. Entry will be through Gate Number 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

How to get tickets for Amrit Udyan?

Entry to Amrit Udyan is completely free, but online booking is mandatory. To book tickets, please visit https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in. On-the-spot tickets will not be available; only online bookings will be accepted.
