Toll collection will now be done through Fastag at all toll booths in Rajasthan. Rate boards will also be installed at all booths. Way-side facilities will also be available on state highways in the coming time. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has given instructions to the officials in this regard while chairing the RSRDC board meeting on Wednesday. Public Works Department Minister Diya Kumar gave instructions to get the toll collection done through Fastag at all the toll booths in the state and to install rate boards at all places.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, while approving important proposals for improvement in the toll policy in this meeting, said that these important changes made in the toll rules will increase competition among toll contractors and the process of toll tax collection will increase due to regular and smooth revenue. Many important decisions have been taken in the board meeting.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumar gave instructions in the board meeting that the state highways of the state provide connectivity to important places and lakhs of people pass through them. For their convenience, immediate testing should be done to develop way-side facilities like restaurants, facilities, etc. on these state highways.

Diya Kumari inspected the Fastag Command Center installed in RSRDC Bhawan

During this, Diya Kumari has given necessary guidelines for the inspection of the Fastag Command Center installed in RSRDC Bhawan. Through this center, live monitoring of all the Fastag-based toll plazas of the state can be done. Through the CCTV cameras installed at all these toll plazas, a live view of the tolls is available on the screens installed in the command center.
