This scheme is for those women who want to start a business by setting up their small industry. The Narendra Modi government at the Center has announced to provide financial assistance of up to Rs 1 lakh to one crore women for the Lakhpati Didi scheme.
It was claimed to include 10 lakh women of the state in this scheme. In the first full budget of the Bhajanlal government to be presented on Wednesday, the number of beneficiary women can be increased from 10 lakh to 11 lakh.
