The days of standing in long queues for train tickets are over. In this digital age, booking unreserved (general) tickets via mobile is now incredibly easy. If you also book tickets online, then this is good news for you. Indian Railways has decided to offer a 3% discount on unreserved ticket bookings made through the RailOne mobile app, with the aim of facilitating passengers and promoting digital ticketing. This special offer will be valid from January 14, 2026, to July 14, 2026.

How to get this discount?
This discount will be available on payments made through any digital mode available on the RailOne app, excluding R-Wallet. Passengers will receive this discount when booking unreserved tickets using various digital payment methods available on the RailOne app, such as UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.

And how much cashback is being offered?
A 3% cashback bonus is already being offered on unreserved ticket bookings made through the RailOne app's R-Wallet. This means passengers will receive a direct 3% discount on digital payments and a 3% cashback when paying with R-Wallet. Thus, passengers are guaranteed benefits when booking unreserved tickets through any digital payment method on the RailOne app.

Why is this offer being given?
This initiative aims to encourage passengers to purchase tickets through digital means and reduce cash transactions. This scheme will give a significant boost to digital ticketing and provide greater convenience to passengers.

The RailOne app offers a range of services on a single platform, including booking reserved, unreserved, and platform tickets, live train location tracking, PNR status, coach position, meal booking, complaint/suggestion submission, and parcel tracking.
