The Indian Railways is going to provide a major relief to train passengers. Now, train passengers will know whether their ticket is confirmed or not approximately 10 hours in advance. According to the information, the Railway Board has issued a new order to provide significant relief to rail passengers. The first reservation chart for trains will now be prepared earlier, so that passengers can know their seat status in advance. Previously, this limit was 4 hours, which caused considerable inconvenience to railway passengers. People faced many problems if their tickets were not confirmed. Let's tell you what kind of information has been given by the Railways.

Chart to be prepared 10 hours in advance
According to the Railway Board, the first reservation chart for trains running from 5:01 AM to 2:00 PM will be prepared by 8 PM the previous day. This means that train passengers will get information about their ticket confirmation much earlier. They will also have ample time to reach the station. For trains running from 2:01 PM to 11:59 PM and from 12 AM to 5 AM, the first reservation chart will be prepared at least 10 hours in advance.

Passengers will have much more convenience.
Railway Board officials say that this decision will reduce the anxiety of passengers coming from far-off places. They will be able to know the status of their tickets in time, which will eliminate their worry about missing the train. This order has been issued to all zonal railways and concerned officials with instructions for implementation. According to experts, the Railways had been preparing for this system for several months. Even at the end of June, there were reports that the Railways was going to change the rules for reservation charts.
